S.K. Wellington is the stage moniker for Calgary-based singer-songwriter Sarah Kemmers.
Wellington started with a traditional folk/rock sound with the band The Wellington Folk. Their debut album was released in 2013, and they followed it with two more full studio albums. In 2018, Kemmers went solo, and the music evolved to include more pop and electronic elements. Her debut solo album was recorded in Winnipeg with Canadian heavy-weights such as Mike Little, Murray Pulver, and David Landreth, and the EP received positive reviews from across North America and the UK.
With 5 studio albums now under her belt and multiple award nominations - Kemmers' is a seasoned songwriter. She has had the privilege of opening for celebrated Canadian artists such as Donovan Woods, Dan Mangan, and Sarah MacDougall.
Wellington's long anticipated next release comes in the form of companion EP's - TWENTY 26. The first EP face to face, will be released June 2026 and the follow-up side by side is coming Fall 2026.
